The HELICOIL technology without tang
No tang is required for the installation of these thread inserts – therefore, tang break or tang removal are no required. The up-to-date HELICOIL coil thread insert technology is called HELICOIL Tangfree. Together with the corresponding installation tools, the HELICOIL Tangfree coil thread perfectly fits into the HELICOIL product family.
